Acknowledgements

I would like to give thanks to the following for supporting me and getting me through my surgery and subsequent chemo treatments:

 

  1. God for orchestrating everything so that the cancer was found early and I was able to get through the whole process within one year with no adverse reactions. 
  2. Bible Study (aka Community Group) Group for providing me with friendship, hospital visits, practical help and being there for me spiritually.
  3. My Dad for being there to drive me, doing my share of house work and not taking personally all the times I took my frustration out on you.
  4. Church Friends for providing me with a listening ear, as well as just being a friend.
  5. Surgeon, Ward Nurses for their expertise in getting rid of the cancer, as well as their professionalism and patience while I was in hospital.
  6. Oncologist and Cancer Nurses for providing advice, understanding me, my feelings and always being up to date with where I was in the whole process
  7. Physio for being open to adapt and provide support for what I needed in way of treatment during the chemo process, as well as the treatment for the original problem I had.
  8. Psychologist for having the experience with chemo patients to provide them with relevant advise on how to handle the process, as well as for a listening ear.
